This study would be considered ethical. Since the full IRB board will review the proposed research before it is done, they must be fully convinced that the research meets all the necessary requirements for the ethical study, including informed consent before it is conducted.”
I agree that this study is ethical as well, but I would want more information to make this determination. I also concur that this research is a full review so to make sure that the subjects of this study have minimum risks, have informed consent, etc. I do have a question about how this study will be validated because a painful procedure will score higher than a nonpainful one. What are your thoughts?
