For example, there are many subcultural groups within society that would not think drinking a pint of whiskey and a six-pack of beer in one evening is deviant, particularly when all of their relatives, friends, and acquaintances are engaging in the same behavior. What cultural and gender based norms and factors need to be taken into consideration when speaking to caregivers regarding their children and psychological symptoms?
