This week’s readings broadly set us up to discuss the context in which organization’s exist and also provide some interesting considerations on forces of change impacting the global work force.
- For this discussion, describe your dream job (or if it is not exactly ‘a dream job’, a role or position or career path that you see yourself pursuing).
- How will this path be relevant and how might this type of role evolve over the next 10, 15, 20 years? Will it be a position which becomes automated or which changes so substantially that you might find yourself doing an entirely different function?
- What forces impacting this career path (and drill down to a specific industry) might impact this type of role?
