I’m studying and need help with a Social Science question to help me learn.
In this module we will focus on war-making and peace and how new technologies are shaping contemporary conflicts. We will look at how digital spaces enable new forms of organizing and ideological extremism and explore possible modes of analysis and governance.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this module, students will be able to:
1.Understand the landscape of contemporary conflict
2.Evaluate and assess the role of technology in conflict and peacemaking
Has technology reshaped conflict and peacemaking? What tools discussed in the readings seemed interesting, important, or problematic to you? Why? How can our readings from the last two weeks help us better make sense of ICT’s and other technologies role in violence? In peace and reconciliation?
