This assignment requires you to watch a video and apply the concepts covered in this section of the course. For this assignment, you should :1) Concisely summarize the video. 2) Discuss how the video specifically illustrates at least two key concepts in the lecture OR how it applies to other concepts you’ve learned in the field of child development.
Important note: As stated above, the goal of this assignment is for you to make connections between the video and the child development material from this class or the general field of study. The most effective way to do this is to directly reference and cite the textbook or another child development resource. Do not simply summarize the video. Half the points for this assignment come from the application of the course material. Equal or greater emphasis should be placed on the application component. Your assignment should be written in essay format and should be between 500 -750 words (about 3/4 to one page of double spaced text). A grading rubric will be used to determine your score and can be located in the “Rubrics” folder in the main menu.
